iWeb and you!

Well in an effort to update my site and bring a little style to it I decided to give iWeb a try.  With my new iMac I had it installed (as I did with my G5 Tower) and just opened it up.  Now the main problem I have with it is you can’t edit the HTML or add in custom tags.  As far as I know you can’t.  Maybe there is some secret sauce that I don’t know about yet.  So in order to add my gallery I needed to crack open the iWeb pages and insert some HTML in Dreamweaver.  Seemed to work fine one I figured out where to put the code with the never ending nesting of ‘div’ tags.

Along with not being able to embed my HTML, I also needed to transfer images from my Adobe workflow to iPhoto so I could easily drag them into the working space.  That takes time and disc space.

Well with the goal of this being to incorporate video blogs with written blogs and publish a possible photocast, I think iWeb will work well for me.  Tomorrow I’m off to Texas so I will probably not update my blog till Tuesday.  Have a good weekend.
